Yesterday, we had the honor to showcase our collection at the #3 market in DTLA. To share the space with fellow POC creators, designers and artists was an amazing opportunity to experience the essence of community - the energy of solidarity, compassion, playfulness and support from one business to another. This is what we hope will echo beyond these times for future generations to thrive on.

In addition to this, if you’ve followed us for some time - you’ve probably wondered where we’ve been in the last few years. During our hiatus - Yaharik and I grew a family of our own, surfing the waves of life. Since being a part of these markets, we’ve been shown how our unique MCM home decor pieces are still deeply appreciated and loved by people of all walks of life. This connection has really uplifted us to want to strengthen the presence of Basement again. So a big THANK YOU to all new and returning beautiful people who shopped with us yesterday & those who shared their appreciation for what they saw!
