Tonight, we gather for the inaugural Gala here in Los Angeles at the stunning Audrey Irmas Pavilion in the heart of Koreatown—an iconic space within one of the city’s oldest synagogues. We all have been working tirelessly for a year to put this special event.

It’s going to be a great evening to honor, uplift, and celebrate the brilliance of Asian American and Pacific Islander voices across the home and design industry—leaders, trailblazers, and the next generation. Thank You to all the incredible colleagues and supporters whom we have had the privilege to work with. Here’s to a brilliant night of celebration, community and creativity! ❤️ 🥂

Another Trip around the Sun. While this year has been difficult, for many others too, I have so much to be grateful for. I’ve always had birthday flops growing up because it’s sandwich between Christmas and New Year’s. The stories I have…But as I get older every year, I am getting better at letting go of expectations on myself and just letting it be... Because somehow I always manage to “pull it together “ remind myself let’s just have fun!😜 This year, I got tennis lessons, woke up to wonderful birthday wishes, calls from great friends from all around, besties surrounding me, a first time experience to see comedy show at to see , found a chocolate ice cream cake and taking a pic at the LA famous and I cooked a yummy meal! A super fun birthday doing something old and experiencing something new. 🥳

I always like to share that, “no experience is ever wasted…” As I look forward of what I want to bring into the next chapter, I am also looking back at my life and all the experiences I’ve accumulated. Each step becomes part of the story. Each journey becomes part of my story—and now, part of a new collection I’m dreaming into being. The colors, textures, and memories I’ve gathered along the way are weaving into something new… inspired by the paths I’ve traveled and the ones still ahead. This incredible photo taken by the talented was in the desert camp of Morocco. That particular moment brought back my very oldest memory of when I first rode a camel 🐪 in Israel when I was 3 years old with my parents. I think I remembered it more because there was a picture of me sitting on camel in our family photo album. Do you look back in order to look forward too? How do you self reflect in order to look ahead ? What do you do when you want to create a vision for your next chapter?
