Chewy Oatmeal Bars with Chocolate Chunks
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats 🌾
1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾
½ tsp baking soda 🥄
¼ tsp salt 🧂
½ cup unsalted butter, melted 🧈
½ cup brown sugar 🍯
¼ cup granulated sugar 🍚
1 large egg 🥚
1 tsp vanilla extract 🌸
1 cup chocolate chunks (or chocolate chips) 🍫
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. 🔥
2️⃣ Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until well combined. 🌾🥄
3️⃣ Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. 🧈🍯
