Turns out a few hundred decisions can look very effortless in nine seconds.

Soft veining, warm brass, and just enough contrast to let the materials do the work.

A kitchen doesn’t need to be loud to make an impression.

“Can I see your work?”

Absolutely. Here’s the very abbreviated version.

Five homes, five completely different spaces, and about a thousand decisions you’ll never see in the finished photos.

To celebrate my return to the Thermador Design Council, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ways I’ve incorporated Thermador into my projects over the years.

As a designer, appliances are such an important part of how a kitchen functions, but they also have to work beautifully within the overall design. I’ve specified Thermador across so many different styles and spaces, and I love seeing how each kitchen takes on a completely different personality.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Design should reflect the way people actually live.
This custom Netilat station was designed specifically for ritual hand washing and integrated into the architecture of the home rather than treated as an afterthought.
The stone, floating shelves, concealed storage and warm lighting all work together to make a functional space feel intentional, elevated and completely connected to the rest of the design.

I love when tradition and design can exist this beautifully together.

This is your sign to build your dream home.

The exterior makes the promise. The interiors have to keep it.

Apparently work-life balance is a thing. I’m very happy for everyone who has one.
