We have never confused the difficulty of the process with the quality of the outcome. The two are not in conflict. The hard work is what makes the outcome worth having.

We’re growing our team at Christine Vroom Interiors — and we’re hiring for two roles.

We’re looking for an Operations & Procurement Manager and a Project Coordinator & Design Liaison to join our studio. These are both long-term, foundational positions for people who are organized, proactive, and genuinely passionate about the design and construction industry.

✨The Operations & Procurement Manager owns the full procurement lifecycle — from quote to closeout — and keeps the business running smoothly behind the scenes.

✨The Project Coordinator & Design Liaison bridges the studio and the field, owning follow-through, site documentation, issue tracking, and project communication across active projects.

Both roles are based in Los Angeles, CA at a close-knit, high-standard residential interior design studio. We invest heavily in our people and are looking for candidates who want to build a lasting career in the design industry.

📩 DM or Email us if this sounds like you. Know someone who’d be a perfect fit? Tag them below.

Reminiscing CDMX.

Travel isn't a vacation for me. It's research. And looking back at these videos from Mexico City, especially after just being in Paris, the contrast is wild.

CDMX is bold, textured, unapologetically maximalist. Color everywhere. Handmade everything. Craft you can feel. It's raw and organic and alive.

Paris? The opposite. Restrained. Refined. Centuries of discipline baked into every building. Symmetry. Precision. Timeless in a way that feels effortless because it's been perfected over generations.

Two completely different design languages. But here's what they share: neither one is chasing trends. Both are rooted in craft, quality materials, and building things that actually last.

That's what I'm after. That's what shows up in our work.

Let’s talk about why hiring an interior designer from day one is the smartest decision you’ll make.

Stop changing your mind mid-construction — Every change order costs money. Every pivot delays your timeline. If you had worked with an interior designer before breaking ground, you would have made these decisions before they required a sledgehammer.

Stop hiring the most affordable contractor — The lowest bid is almost always the most expensive option. A good contractor costs more upfront but saves you thousands in mistakes, delays, and redo’s. And a good interior designer knows which contractors are worth it.

Stop making decisions based on resale value — Design for how YOU want to live, not for a hypothetical buyer in 10 years. The market doesn’t reward boring. It rewards quality and turn-key. And buyers can tell the difference between a well-designed home and a safe one.

Stop breaking ground before hiring the interior designer — This is the biggest mistake homeowners make. You hire the architect. You hire the contractor. You start demo. And THEN you call the designer to ‘pick finishes.’

By that point, half your budget is gone and your options are limited by decisions that were already made without you.

An interior designer should be part of your team from day one — before the architect finalizes plans, before the contractor gives a bid, before you make a single material decision. Because good design doesn’t start after the walls go up. It starts before you break ground.

Swipe through. Save this. Send it to anyone about to start a renovation.

Your future self will thank you.

Most people don't properly design their pantry.
We don't understand most people.

Sometimes "getting out of your comfort zone" means saying yes even when it feels unnecessary. Booking the plane tickets. Taking your team to Paris. And treating it like the business investment it actually is.

This is what that looked like.

Would do it again tomorrow in case you were wondering.

Before the final shot there was a styling session that looked nothing like it.

Every object auditioned for its place. Most didn’t make it.

This is how the living room in The Modern Edit got to where it needed to be.
