It has been a LONG while since the last photo dump, so here it is, and let’s just say, my chef boyfriend contributed to a lot of these because he spent so many nights and put in so much effort making me dinner and plated them nicely for me to get my pictures, and yes all of them were all very, very delicious and they made me cry happy tears.
1. & 2.after being fed by Alex for so many nights I made him lemon blueberry pancakes with honey yogurt and bloob compote on top
3. March cake of the month was a carrot cake cheesecake with coconut sorbet
4. Surprise surprise. Another pancake pic but instead of breakfast this was breakfast for dinner
5. And the fifth picture brings us to April’s cake of the month. This one is a fun collaboration with Alex, a smoked salt saffron tres leches cake with vanilla bean whipped cream, candied pistachio and my recent new favorite ice cream that I’ve made: labne rose ice cream.
6. And now, we begin the my boyfriend cooks for me series: butter chicken. He made the curry, I made the naan. Team work baby!!
7. After going to India we went to Italy, this was spaghetti, Bolognese, AND I made garlic knots with the left over naan dough
8. Steak nacho with homemade hatch chili queso. This was a kitchen sink fridge clean out meal
9. Another kitchen sink meal using the leftover rice we had from the butter chicken dinner: kimchi spam fried rice
10. Ok so now I’m feeling a bit like, that was a lot of carbs and heavy meals I’m craving salad after having a giant IN n OUT lunch so I asked him to make me salad lol and what did he do? He made me the best damn Chinese chicken salad but with a twist that is a Vietnamese chili lime and fish sauce vinaigrette. It hit so hard and it was everything I was craving for
11. The last installment of the series ends ( for now ) with a bowl of poke. It was the best damn poke I’ve ever had
