We opened our Frogtown studio two years ago today. It started out as white walls and a lot of ideas, and has slowly grown into the space you know now.

Thank you for supporting us, celebrating with us, stopping in to buy something, taking a class, and for letting us pet your dogs. It all means more than you know.

Our team appreciates you. I appreciate you.

If you’ve ever come through the space or met us out in the world, just know you’re part of our story & this little place along the river.

First Fridays are back in Frogtown! This one’s all about the animals. 🐾

We’re kicking off our 2026 First Fridays series this Friday, May 1st from 5–10 PM with a neighborhood-wide evening hosted by . It’s completely free, family-friendly, and meant to be wandered—just make like a frog and hop through the neighborhood. Walk, bike, or rideshare if you're able - all stops are just off the LA River Bike Path.

There will be food, drinks, local art, live music, activations, animal adoptions, and lots of sweet moments tucked throughout the river path.

Here at Forager, we’ll have a mix of vendors, pop-ups, sweet treats, and a free craft or two that you can drop into throughout the evening. Say hi to us and our neighbors on Knox and Blake, then move north or south to explore the other participating venues (in order below from Fletcher + Riverside to the Taylor Yard Bridge).

Come by, bring a friend, say hi, and spend some time in the neighborhood ✨

We can finally talk about this one!

We had the chance to collaborate with on an influencer event for the new Wuthering Heights (), and we hosted it here at the studio in Frogtown.

Our team is very serious about movies - from archivists to filmmakers, from kino lovers to avowed AMC A-Listers, we've all found ourselves in LA for a reason.

When a story has a strong point of view and we're given the freedom to customize, we like to sit with it, pull references, think about texture and tone and - finally - decide what the craft will be. The goal is always the same: make something that actually belongs to the story.

The pressed flower bookmarks we made for this one felt romantic, a little restrained, a little stormy, and very referential to the source — which was very fun to translate into materials, setting, and instruction.

Warner Bros invited us to a preview screening (still grateful!), and we brought our whole Frogtown family, including our friends at , who made the most beautiful, moody cakes for the evening and absolutely nailed it (as always).

Whether you want to bring your own materials, have us curate a craft experience, or skip the crafting entirely and simply gather in a beautiful space, our studio is available for birthdays, brand launches, wedding showers, baby showers, holiday parties, team off-sites, and everything in between (no weddings yet — but we’re open to dreaming).

The workshop space is reserved just for your group, and you’re welcome to bring in food, drinks, vinyl, playlists, and whatever else makes it feel like yours. If you'd like extra help or guidance, we'll help you shape something that fits the tone — refined, playful, hands-on, low-key, celebratory, or whatever else you can dream up. We can even coordinate catering & cake! 🎂🍰

If you’ve been wanting to play with plant color, this is your sign - a little botanical rainbow at the end of the storm. 🌈✨

Did you know we offer natural dyeing as private workshops? We can take our classes to you at your home or office, or host them as a private experience here at the studio. It’s one of our favorite ways to gather people and celebrate special occasions - and the colorways and textiles are always so fun to customize.

We also host public natural dye classes here in Frogtown with .green.art.studio, and keep the shop fully stocked with the materials you need to continue experimenting on your own. If you’re working on a project, bring in your cotton, linen, wool, or silk and we’ll help you weigh it and calculate exactly how much mordant and dye you’ll need so nothing goes to waste.

Sharing a few moments from a fantastic night of crafting with guests at . We started the night customizing cowboy hats with bands, one-of-a-kind pins, trinkets, ribbons, silk, feathers, and vintage treasures, and then our team custom-engraved initials, words, and names onto brass lighters.

While we love our little home by the river, these offsite events are where it all began! Before we had our own venue, we were a fully mobile events company - and we still stage hundreds of private parties and corporate events out of our studio each year, all across the state + country.

For this occasion, beyond grateful to the musicians, staffers, and the full vendor team — and especially — for building a night that was truly immersive (as they always do!). Now let's keep up that cowboy spirit as we leap into the Year of the Horse! 🐎
