I’ve recently been dabbling in sewing my own clothes and looking for pretty, practical patterns. But I’ve noticed that some websites charge anywhere from $10 to $20 just for a PDF pattern! And that’s before the cost of printing it and the time it takes to cut, tape, and assemble everything. Why are sewing patterns so expensive?! They seem way more expensive than crochet patterns.

* Slip Stitch BLO Ribbing: Ch to your desired ribbing width.
* - Sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and across.
* Sl st into the next 2 stitches on the sweater edge.
* Turn, skip the 2 anchor stitches, and sl st in the back loop only across.
* Repeat until you reach the end.
* Join the first and last ribbing rows together.
