No magic. No excuses. Just GRIT. 🔥⚔️

I had so much fun bringing Asta from Black Clover to life in this piece — the duality, the demon energy wrapping around him, that unstoppable “I’ll surpass my limits” mindset in his eyes. The contrast between light and dark was everything.

This character represents pure determination to me. No matter how many times he’s doubted, he never backs down… and I wanted that intensity to jump off the canvas. 🖤❤️

I don’t create art just because I want to feel…
I create because sometimes I feel too much.

Growing up, I didn’t always have words for what I was going through.
So I picked up a pencil instead.

Art became the only place I could be honest.
The only place I could release anger, confusion, fear, and hurt without anyone telling me it was “too much.”

While everything around me felt out of control…
the paper held it for me.

Years later, when I got sober, I realized something —
art had always been my safe escape before substances ever were.

Now almost 8 years clean from drugs…
and I still process life the same way:
through colors, lines, and emotion.

Some people journal.
Some people talk.
I paint.

Every piece I share is a feeling I survived.

This watercolor painting is one of my most emotional pieces. I poured a lot of what I was feeling into every brushstroke—the heaviness, the healing, the vulnerability. Art has always been my way of releasing what words can’t hold.
