Well that was messy. Using tweezers to place the flowers is necessary, but I couldn’t find mine. The flowers kept sticking to my gloves, flipping over, not staying where I placed them…Oy! But it worked out in the end and this will be gorgeous!

I’ve felt a little conflicted heading into America’s 250th celebration. I love this country deeply, while also feeling heartbroken by so much of what’s happening right now — and I don’t think loving your country means staying silent about that.
So I created this sign to reflect the values I believe America is meant to stand for: peace, love, equality, hope, and kindness. They’re the same values I try to teach my kids and the things I quietly pray for every single day.
