We love Return customers. They wanted to finish their basement & put down a floor that would stand up to the teenage boys’ living. So we put down a moisture v***r barrier, a poly barrier, & a Pergo laminate with padding on the back. This floor will withstand the pool table & the ping pong table. Along with weights, sports equipment, & spilled popcorn or sodas.

These return customers wanted SFS to use the same engineered wood we installed in the top 2 floors, on their staircase, leading to the basement. We had to tear off the old particle board treads & risers. We installed new OSB subfloor as the treads. We installed new 3-4” white risers. Then we installed the engineered wood over the OSB treads, to create a prefabricated feel. We also handmade the edges & return pieces of stair nose. We made sure raise the landing to match the height of the stair risers too. Fitted & Wrapped the newel post.
