Another great tip!

wish I'd know to do this a long time ago! The Family Handyman DIY Tip of the Day: Stain Sprayer. Here’s an easier way to stain or seal chairs, lattice or anything with numerous tight recesses. Pour the stain into a clean, empty spray bottle. Spray the stain onto the project and wipe up the excess with a brush or rag. The sprayer will sq**rt stain into all those tight, hard-to-reach cracks and joints

I'm not doing much painting these days, but had to pass along this brilliant trick. Love the simple ingenuity in this.

This would have saved me from a lot of painted fingers!

Played a bit with the fall set up on my porch. Used old drawers for the back drop. I love that the big owl has his wing in the milk can (unplanned). I need to label It "mice" now ;)

Today is my birthday. Every year, I choose to spend the day at Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Butterfly House. Such a breath- taking place to just be. Beautiful gardens, awesome junk and my favorite winged friends. Had to snap a few pics to share the experience. Anyone local- I highly recommend it ;)

I love having the opportunity to create something for a great cause. This beautiful little bench was donated to the Jason Micheal Annual Golf Outing to be auctioned off with all proceed to benefit breast cancer research. Perfect for a serenity garden or under a tree, don't you think?

My creative process is evolving. I used to find a piece and stare at it for days before I could settle on a design. Now- I come up with the design and find a piece to fit. Check out this awesome wallpaper I found. Time to get my paint on (literally) :)
