This BLEW OUR MINDS.
I was chatting with a sweet customer who at some point mentioned her mom was from Yerington.

My ears perked up.
"I was raised in Yerington. While I haven't been there in a long time, I may know her."
"My mom's name is Helen Carney."

I had to turn around, walk away , and take a big breath. A. Big. One.
Finally I blurted,"My grandpa was Paul Carney!"

That's when we both got goosebumps, followed by teary eyes.

Her grandpa and mine were brothers, making my mom and her mom one of the 11 cousins my mom grew up with!
What a blessed encounter it was. Thank you God for making me a small part of this large Irish family.
