The waves and the sand are officially calling my name, and I am so ready to answer. 🌊☀️

​This year has already been a crazy ride. Between learning lessons in discernment, doing some deep soul-searching, and finding myself again, I’ve realized just how important it is to step back and breathe.

​I am incredibly grateful to be sharing this space with our bonus family members, too—seeing everyone is going to make it even more special. 💜 But honestly? More than anything, my husband, my kids, and I just deeply need this time to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.

​Time to let the ocean do its magic. Vacation mode = ON. 🏖️✨

You guys are amazing!!!

A little story behind our Gluten Friendly flyer...

A while back, a customer asked us what we had that was gluten free, and honestly... we weren't too sure other than maybe a burger patty. It wasn't something we knew a lot about. She and her family were so kind and patient with us, helping us understand what they could and couldn't have. They’ve come back a few more times, ordering the same thing—a burger patty and some fries if the oil was fresh—and it really got us thinking.

We sat down, went through our menu ingredient by ingredient, did some research, and realized we actually have several items that are gluten friendly. Since then, we've started making sure we have a designated fryer for items without wheat products so our gluten-friendly customers can still enjoy fresh-cut fries and a few more of their favorites.

We're definitely not experts in this area, and because we cook in a shared kitchen we can't guarantee anything is 100% gluten free. But we love learning, growing, and finding ways to make JalaPeña's a place where more people can enjoy a good meal.

If you ever have questions, suggestions, or knowledge you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to talk to us! We truly appreciate it, and it helps us provide the best service we can.

Sometimes the best ideas for improving come from our customers, and we're thankful this family asked the question that started it all.🌶️🤘
