🟦 Entrelac Knit-Along with Jared — starts tonight (March 26)
We kick off our Entrelac Knit-Along tonight at 5:30 PM, and it’s not too late to join.
This is a relaxed, guided project where you’ll learn the beautiful woven look of entrelac step by step
Bring your yarn, bring your curiosity, and jump in.

📖 Stitch & Story Club — The Joy Luck Club - April 7 & 8
Our next Stitch & Story listening sessions feature The Joy Luck Club, in two parts.
Come stitch while we listen together and enjoy the story as a group.
A cozy, quiet gathering with just the right amount of conversation.

🧵 Learn to Spin with Joy — Sunday, April 12
Two sessions, choose one or stay for both:
Morning — Drop spindle spinning
Afternoon — Wheel spinning
Perfect if you’ve always wanted to try spinning, or if you’re ready to take the next step.
Spinning fiber and wheels will be available in the shop.

🧶 New Beginner Crochet Series — starts soon
We’re starting a small, focused beginner course using
Selena Baca’s Learn to Crochet in 10 Easy Lessons.

Homework + online quizzes between meetings

🌎 Earth Day Crafting — Upcycled Basket Workshop with Marni - April 22
Celebrate Earth Day by turning scraps into something useful.
We’ll make coiled baskets using fabric, yarn leftovers, and cord.
No experience needed — just come ready to create.

but one-on-one lessons are available.

Zauberball Crazy has arrived at The Yarny Way ✨
This is one of those yarns I’ve wanted in the shop for a long time, and it finally made its way to the Sock Sector.
Schoppel Zauberball Crazy is famous for its long color repeats and marled self-striping effect. Each skein has over 450 yards, making it perfect for socks, shawls, scarves, and one-skein projects where the yarn does all the work.
I also love the story behind this yarn.
Schoppel uses certified-origin wool from Patagonia and a biodegradable polyamide fiber instead of standard nylon, so the yarn is durable without leaving behind the same long-lasting synthetic waste.
We currently have a small batch of 12 different Crazy colorways in stock — and one lone skein of the original Zauberball 👀
