This quilt is made from Kim’s little brother clothing, who passed away when he was 4. The clothes are 61 years old.
Sondi is absolutely amazing when it comes to making quilts or whatever she might be making. Sondi drew the pattern out and “pondered” over how to layout the design in a 💙. She carefully did a lot by hand. We quilted it with Heaven and Hearts design. Sondi wanted to hand bind it for Kim. She made a rod pocket on back for Kim to use as a wall hanging. Kim has a stick of gum she found with his clothes and will put it in the little pocket.
