I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time creating these flavors, changing things, testing things, making labels, changing those labels, and then making more stuff because apparently I don’t know how to leave well enough alone.

And now you can finally order it all online. 🙌

Most of you know Que-Munity for the BBQ events and Meat Candy sauces, seasonings, and all the other ridiculous stuff I keep deciding needs to exist 😂

But one of my favorite parts of all of this is **creating flavors from scratch** — so I’m opening that up to other people and businesses too.

If you have an idea for a sauce, seasoning, hot sauce, glaze, marinade, or something completely different, I can help turn that idea into an actual finished recipe.

You bring me the concept.

I’ll work with you on the flavor, make adjustments, test it, and develop something that is **unique to you**.

For applicable products, I can also perform **pH testing** and develop with food-safety and regulatory requirements in mind.

**Once your project is paid in full, the finished recipe/formula is 100% yours.**

I’m not going to turn around and sell your custom flavor to somebody else.

For everyone’s protection, **each custom development project will also come with a written agreement** outlining the scope of work, payment terms, confidentiality, ownership, and the transfer of recipe/formula rights upon final payment.

I’m convinced the first person who wrapped a brisket in butcher paper only did it because they ran out of foil and were too embarrassed to admit it.

Then everybody else saw it and went:

“Ah yes. The breathable bark preservation method.”

Brother, that is **construction paper for meat.** 😂

Now we’ve got grown adults arguing over peach paper thickness like we’re selecting Egyptian cotton sheets for a cow.

Foil. Paper. Naked.

I’ve learned something doing this BBQ business thing…

This s**t is HARD. 😂

People see a bottle of sauce, a seasoning, a food truck, a smoker, or a table set up at an event. They don’t see the 47 things that went wrong before you got there. The money you spent. The recipes that sucked. The labels you had to redo. The late nights. The events that flopped. The messages nobody answered. The days you seriously wondered what the hell you were doing.

And somehow… you wake up and do it again.

So I think we need to stop calling ourselves “small BBQ businesses.”

Nah.

We’re BIG LOCAL BBQ BUSINESSES. 🔥

Maybe we don’t have a warehouse, 200 employees, or bottles sitting on every grocery store shelf… yet.

But there is nothing small about what it takes to build something from absolutely nothing.

Nothing small about somebody trusting their own recipe enough to put their name on it.

Nothing small about firing up that smoker, loading that trailer, bottling that sauce, mixing that seasoning, setting up that tent, or putting every spare dollar you have back into something you believe in.

Local doesn’t mean small.

It means somebody right here built it.

So quit selling yourself short.

You’re not a small BBQ business.

You’re a BIG LOCAL BBQ BUSINESS that the rest of the world just hasn’t heard about yet. 🔥🤘

September 26th will be here before we know it and we're already getting everything together for the next **Que-Munity BBQ Festival!**

We learned A LOT from our first one (including apparently Mother Nature has beef with BBQ 😂), and we're taking everything we learned and making this one even better.

🔥🍅 **HOLY S**T. WE DID IT.** 🍅🔥

I have been working on something behind the scenes that I am WAY too excited about not to share.

I just made a batch of **Get Hick’d** using our own from-scratch tomato base instead of commercially made ketchup…

**AND IT TASTES EXACTLY THE SAME.** 🤯

Same Get Hick’d flavor.
Same sauce you know.

But now we control what goes into the base.

🚫 No corn syrup
🚫 No high-fructose corn syrup
🚫 No artificial ingredients
🚫 No unnecessary fillers

Just real ingredients and the same damn sauce. 🔥

This has been one of my biggest goals: **clean up the ingredient list WITHOUT sacrificing the flavor that made the sauce what it is.**

And tonight I finally proved we can do it.

I seriously cannot explain how freaking excited I am about this one. 😂🔥
