Introduced in 1876, the Poland Water "Moses" bottle is a figural glass vessel depicting the biblical figure holding the Ten Commandments. Created by the Ricker family in Poland Spring, Maine, it symbolizes Moses striking the rock to bring forth water. After Prohibition ended, the family ironically reused these iconic molds to bottle gin.
