Has your home stopped working for the way you live?

Maybe you need another bedroom, more space for family, an updated bathroom, or simply a layout that makes more sense for your day-to-day life.

Outgrowing your home doesn’t always mean you have to move. A thoughtful remodel or addition can give you the space and functionality you need while letting you stay in the home and community you already love.

Thinking about what’s next for your home? Let’s explore the possibilities.

The Hughes Project is coming together with a lot of thoughtful changes to make the home more functional.

We relocated windows, added new ones, created a new laundry closet, and transformed the former garage space into a new primary bedroom. The project also includes a new kitchen, a curb shower with heated floors, and updated mechanical systems.

We're excited to see this one continue to take shape!

Some projects are about more than creating extra space. They're about creating a better way to live. 🏡

For the Nelson Project, the goal was to give the homeowner's aging father a comfortable place to live with an additional bedroom, bathroom, and living space while allowing them to stay close as a family.

It's a great example of how the right home renovation can adapt to the changing needs of a family.

That's what makes residential remodeling so meaningful. We're not just changing homes, we're helping improve the way people live in them.

Is your property ADU ready?

You may already have space on your property that could become something more. A garage, basement, or unused area could potentially be transformed into additional living space for family, guests, rental income, or changing needs down the road.

Every property is different, so factors like your existing space, utilities, permitting, and how you want to use the ADU all play a role.

Thinking about an ADU or DADU? Let’s explore what’s possible on your property.

Sometimes the solution your home needs isn’t always obvious at first.

The Nelson Project is a great example of how a home addition can completely change the way a family uses their space. 🏡

This large front addition was designed to create an extra bedroom, bathroom, and living space for the homeowner and her aging father.

Now, with the addition taking shape, we're seeing the vision come together, including a new deck and custom details that make the space feel like part of the original home.

Still a work in progress, but the transformation is already pretty incredible.

Sometimes the best way to create more space is to look at what you already have.

A remodel or addition isn’t just about changing what’s inside your home. It’s about looking at the entire property and finding ways to make it work better for the way you live.

From additions and ADUs to outdoor living spaces and whole-home remodels, thoughtful planning can help you get more out of your property without having to leave the place you already call home.

Thinking about what your property could become? Let’s explore the possibilities.

Converting existing space can completely change how a property is used. 🏡

This family transformed roughly 600 sq. ft. of garage space into finished living space that can function as its own rentable ADU.

Beyond creating more usable square footage, an ADU can add flexibility to your property, whether that means space for family, guests, or potential rental income.

Have unused space in your home? Let’s explore what it could become.

Buying a home that needs work? Make sure you understand the full picture before you commit. 🏡

For this home, the MacCoy team created several renderings and assigned estimated costs to the proposed updates, helping Aaron understand what the renovation could look like and what it could mean for his overall budget.

That information can make a big difference when deciding whether a home and the renovations it needs are actually the right fit.

Considering buying a fixer-upper or updating your current home? MacCoy Home Solutions can help you explore the possibilities before making a major decision.
