🇺🇸good morning, the bakery will be open this Saturday Labor Day weekend from 10:30 till 12:30.👩‍🍳

The bakery will be fully filled with assorted pastries to choose from.

I am only taking pre orders for selected pastries. Our most popular pastries that require me to increase the quantities .

🥐Croissants plain. Chocolate almond Dubliner cheese and cinnamon roll .

Brioche cinnamon, caramel pecan and raspberry

Cream puffs and Eclairs.

You can place pre orders by noon on Friday the 4th.

Send text to 319 540 7325 or by FB messenger.

If you want to add to your pre order you can choose from the case.

Puff pastries, bars, cookies, baklava, scones, brownies, bread pudding and other treats.

You have been asking about Fall Croissants classes , I will post a schedule later this month with classes starting in October and November 🥐👩‍🍳

🐈🐈Thank you for your support for our kitties. They are now all neutered and ready for adoption. Another baby showed up with a lip injury. He has been treated and also neutered. He is about the same age as our other kittens with a grey fur and a white chest very friendly.

Please consider adding a kitten to your home.❤️

The Newburg bakery will be open this Saturday from 10:30 till 1:00.👩‍🍳

The cut off will be Thursday at 5.

Sorry there are no cream puffs or eclairs on this weeks list. I am baking 200 of them for an event on Saturday.👩‍🍳

5 of the kitties were neutered this week. They will be in the outdoor catio. 2 are waiting on their adoption. 3 are available. 4 more will be neutered on the 31st.🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

The garden will be open. It is in full bloom. You can smell the roses and moon flowers. You can find little green tree frogs sunning on the leaves and tucked in the flower blooms.🐸🌻

👩‍🍳🐈Hi everyone! The bakery will be closed tomorrow. We will be open Saturday August 29th and the Saturday before Labor day September 5th.

5 of our baby kittens were neutered today, we just picked them from the Postville Veterinary. We are so grateful to you our bakery customers for your generous tips and donations and to the Veterinarians in Postville who offer the TNR services.

4 kitties and the 2 mom's are scheduled for next week.

Here are pictures of a wedding tasting this past Thursday.

🐸🐸🐸🌻Good morning!👩‍🍳

Today is a bakery day👩‍🍳 I am baking a Boston cream pie for a birthday a Vanilla Bean sponge cake with mascarpone vanilla custard cream filling and a chocolate ganache glaze. I am also baking 6 flavors for a fall wedding Tasting tomorrow. 4 dozen cream puffs for a celebration and Fall themed cookie samples for a fall wedding .

When I am not baking, gardening, taking care of kittens, painting furniture or renovating our cottage, I am taking photos of my green frogs and monarch caterpillars.

I find frogs sunning everyday. Here are my last 2 days frog pictures🐸

The 🐸 frogs were all over the garden after the rain today❤️.

If you come to the bakery this Saturday stop and look for green tree frogs🐸 I found so many today! They were all out getting some sun.

If you spot the first one...your eye will pickup more. I found 7 in the zinnia bed in the front of the bakery. They are also in the wisteria, the 4 o'clocks and morning glories🐸 through out the garden.

Good morning👩‍🍳🥐!

The Newburg Bakery will be CLOSED this Saturday.

We will be open again with a full bakery next Saturday August 15th.👩‍🍳

I will post the bakery list on Monday with a cutoff day Wednesday at noon. I am baking for 2 events next Thursday and Friday.👩‍🍳🥐

The 9 babies and 2 Mom's are getting neutered and spayed this month. The kitties will be available for adoption through Malanimals Cat Coalition. They will be featured on their website. Please visit their page and support the cat coalition. They are always in search of foster homes for their kittens.

Happy Friday baking day👩‍🍳🧁

I just baked a double batch of churro cupcakes. Dulce de Leche filling, caramel mascarpone ganache frosting. Topped with a filled churro from Don Jose in Decorah.

A reminder the Newburg bakery is closed tomorrow.

I bake special orders anytime for every occasion even if the bakery is closed.👩‍🍳🧁

After 2 years of planning , building and researching we did it😼

The catio is finally done...now to fill with cats😺😽😼. It is filled with ramps, ladders, hammocks, feeding stations, climbing posts and lots of lounging platforms. I will post pictures later today. We are not sure if they are going to like the 18 foot ladder to get to the bottom level.🤞

This is the new indoor/outdoor home for Wistie, Apple, Blossom, Sweet pea, Sammy, Tigger, Polly, Bramble, Smokie, Black Jack, Penny and Gracie.

Good morning! The Newburg bakery is closed this Saturday. I will post the next bakery day for August.

Thank you all for coming to the bakery last week. Thank you for all the birthday gifts, cards, cookies, tamales❤️ and well wishes for Glenn's 80th.
