After a lovely Valentine’s Day celebration, we are happy to announce the launch of our Digital Art class at 4pm-5pm on every Thursday! This is a class for digital artists of all levels. You will learn how to draw, animate and illustrate using Procreate app and an iPad. Class instruction and one on one advice will be available during the class. We will begin with how to begin using Procreate and move on to choosing brushes, colors and canvas size, creating custom brushes and stamps and using several Photoshop equivalent features such as blending mode, liquify and blur settings. We can provide advice, instruction and the most efficient ways to improve and work quickly in the app. As students become more comfortable with Procreate and digital art, we can work on developing a recognizable art style and how to make digital art look professional.

We are excited to continue our strong February with our various Valentine’s Day themed arts and crafts activities for children, teens, and adults. Feel free to stop by during the open studio time to make personalized Valentine’s Day cards for classmates, friends, and loved ones; or paint the tote bags for carrying cards and candy; maybe add on some little crochet hearts, clay trinket dishes, BFF matching keychains, charm bracelets, custom book covers, and more to your list.

Also, keep an eye out for new activities starting soon, such as our first Procreate class on Thursday 2/16 and our monthly bullet journaling workshop on Sunday 2/26.

Can’t believe it’s the end of January and Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Won’t be fun to design your own Valentine’s Day card or gift for the love ones? Come to Myosotis Art Studio, we can help to make the special journal covers with love, unique bookmarks, decorations, even to crochet a nice heart, and a cute bag to carry them all. We have the workshop daily 4pm to 5pm Tue-Fri, and 3pm to 4pm Sat-Sun. Don’t forget to book the party and events as well, we can have a lot of fun. Hope to see you soon!

Last week, in Myosotis Art Fall Break Camp, our young artists enjoyed their own creation and brought home their handmade holiday cards, clay figure, key chain, painting, and jewelry!

Myosotis Art is offering the Winter Camp between 12/26/22 and 12/30/22. At our Winter Camp, students explore a variety of art mediums in a day or a half-day session. develop their creativity and self-confidence while having a blast and enjoying the music. Our Winter Camp has a small student-teacher ratio, this ensures optimal attention and support for each camper. All staff are skilled and trained in fine arts. We offer full-day camp (provide lunch) from 9 am to 4 pm, also have the half day camp either 9 am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. There are breaks and snacks in between the sessions as well.

Projects change between morning and afternoon sessions as well as each day, so students doing multiple days or half days do not repeat the same project twice. Each day students get to try a different art medium or crafting methods; some examples include clay, watercolors, acrylic painting, jewelry making, digital arts and many, many more.

Halloween is a time for scares, excitement and fun. This week, come to Myosotis Art Studio to draw skulls, crochet Halloween Mimi Amigurumi, tons of fun! On Saturday, wear your costume to the studio, paint your own mask. And on Sunday, it's time for Trick or Treating, and also get your own tattoo!

In October, autumn comes into full swing. After the weather challenges at the beginning of the month, we finally got a few great sunny days back. Come to Myosotis Art, we will hold the beautiful fall mood!

Please follow our calendar, there are so many fun activities for the month. From our Nature Crafts, Crochet, Drawing to the Halloween Mask Making fun time (10/16 and 10/22). And on 10/29, we have the Halloween art & crafting, make the cool Halloween paintings. On 10/30, of course, it’s Trick or Treat Candy and Tattoo time! Wear your costume and let’s paint the pumpkins orange!!

As we announced on last Monday, Myosotis Art Studio is so excited to offer a week long Printmaking Workshop! Join RISD print artist Sebastian Bateman for a week-long relief printing workshop where you will learn how to make your own designs using rubber, clay, linoleum, and other natural materials. Registration for 8/23（Tuesday), 8/25(Thursday), and 8/27(Saturday) classes 2pm-5pm at a daily rate of $65.
