An AMAZING Early Quilt - PreFeedsack Era - Late 1800’s and Early 1900’s - Just Look at that fabric - this has been washed and those rich colors did not bleed - it is a very usable quilt - would look Amazing w a crock collection or a Shabby Farmhouse decor - TRUE PRIMITIVE - I found a couple aging spots on it which I have pictured - this is to be expected in a quilt this age - it is a solid quilt with many years of use ahead of it - just about a museum quality piece - measure a nice size - 62 x 78 in - $225 - Located/Pickup in Madison

There are two of these quilts - same quilter - this is the larger one - pink on the corners - same FABULOUS pattern on the back fabric - I believe the pattern is call Trip Around the World - SO MUCH feedsack material - wonderful cotton calico - there are a couple of stains shown in the pictures - with all this color - they are not really noticeable - GREAT to fold and add color to your farmhouse/primitive decor - totally usable for extra warmth on a bed - camper - of curl up with in the sofa - little girls bed - measures 60 x 76 inches - $110

I believe that is the block design - LOOK at that backing - smaller quilt - perfect for a camper or sofa throw - GREAT for a folded splash of color w your primitive decor - it has been washed and ready for use - there is one block - red one in the near center - I have two pictures of it - one held open and the second showing you the a careful hand probably could patch this - the quilt measure 58 x 68 inches - $80 - Located/Pickup in Madison

Eek !!!!

Now comes the hard decision if I should wash them - don’t think any have been - believe that I will - to freshen them up - lighten some of that storage dinginess - they AREN’T really dirty - but let’s face it - NOTHING gives me MORE JOY - then a line full of quilts flapping in the Nebraska breeze - well today it’s more like a gale - but then at least I know they will hold up when you get them into your home and start using them - pictures, size and price will be posted in the following couple of days

What a wonderful Feedsack Quilt - Look at ALL those Calico Stars - Classic Depression Era Green to tie it all together - TINY quilting stitches - the thin batting that you look for in a true vintage quilt - measures 64 x 82 inches - there are TWO yellow stars that has fabric loss - I have close ups of them - the last picture is me pointing to them/location on the quilt - $225 - located/Pickup in Madison

I LOVE the classic depression Green - would you call this a nine patch or a snow ball ? Either way it has the tiniest quilting stitches - the WHOLE binding is worn along the edge - I LOVE that it has been used by its maker but if you aren’t one of those - it would be easy to rebind it - it’s that thin vintage quilt you look for - soft and pliable - measures 70 x 84 - has a worn spot that I found - may be more but I am not seeing it at this time - located / Pickup in Madison - $275

Tons of OLD fabric in this CLASSIC basket pattern - that blue is late 1800’s - early 1900’s - it has not been washed - her quilting lines can still be seen - the red borders looks like it was added later - THOSE PRAIRIE POINTS - the cream fabric is the right era but the red looks to be later - done several close ups so you can form your own opinion - either way it was done RIGHT - hand sewn on and the points at the corner are PERFECT - there is some bleeding of that fabulous blue - the one in the border would be behind pillows (if you are unable to wash it out) The other in a corner - it must of gotten damp somewhere along the line and the blue fabric allowed to set next to those spots - I have not washed this…….yet……when the weather straightens up will give it a go !!!! Would like to see if those blessings could be lightened - Such a wonderful example of EARLY fabric - there is a tear on the back fabric - shown in the last picture - can be easily mended - Measures 72 x 88 $225 -located / pickup in Madison
