New Covenant Quilting

New Covenant Quilting New Covenant Quilting is a small business that provides longarm quilting, custom quilt orders, and patterns. Feel free to contact me for more information.

New Covenant Quilting is a small business that first came about as I began to do longarm quilting for myself and other customers. Over time, I have also made custom-ordered quilts for customers doing the piecing, quilting and finishing work. I also began working at my local quilt shop. While there, more and more I found myself 'designing' quilts for customers. This led to me home and to designing

quilts and publishing patterns. My patterns can be ordered directly through me both retail to customers or wholesale to businesses (who supply a certificate). They can also be ordered through Brewer Quilting and Sewing Supplies. I hope you can also find them in your local quilt shop. If not, feel free to share this page with the quilt shop owner. All my patterns are copyrighted and therefore cannot be reproduced in any form for any purpose without my prior written permission. I would love to hear from you!

I got the wedding quilt done and delivered. I love how it turned out. I did have an inspiration (the very center) that got me started, then I added the layering to get this design.

The main block is the Storm at Sea. I’ve used it before and it never disappoints.

The color combo is purely from my daughter’s wedding colors and the couple’s favorites. The fabrics made this quilt stunning. I’m very pleased with the finished work.

Fabrics from Twisted Sisters Quilt Shop. Thanks, Amy, for your help.

I love the Storm at Sea block. Color placement lends itself to amazing designs.

This quilt is a wedding quilt for my daughter. It’s been a labor of love. I’m so excited by how it’s turning out. I’ll reveal it fully after I gift it to her.

I’m currently hand stitching the binding. My least favorite part. I think it’s because I’m so ready for it to be done.

Have you ever made a Storm at Sea quilt? One of my patterns is one Storm at Sea block at 48”!! It’s called Eye of the Storm. You can find it on my website. It’s a favorite of this same daughter and mine too.

I’ve been working in the Nebula quilt by Jay Bird Designs with a fabric kit and club from Gina's Bernina Sewing Machine & Quilt Studio. It’s been in the works for a while with a long break. I finally got back to it and finished the blocks. Then I had to start all the background. It was daunting, especially since i wanted it to be king size, but I plugged away and got done.

Next up, I’ll quilt it. I could do an overall edge to edge pantograph, but I’m considering custom quilting. Any suggestions?
