A braided handle seems like fiddly work — three strips, joins to hide, ends that never line up. ✨

The trick: cut two long slits in a single strap, stopping about 2 cm before each end. The strap stays whole at the top and bottom, so there's nothing to join and nothing to glue. Then you simply braid — and pass the end through the loop each time to keep it flat.

Around step two it always looks twisted and wrong. It isn't. The next pass straightens it out. 💛
