Hi, it’s me, Tori! 👋🏼 Today I reached my 1,000th sale on Etsy. Coastal Ember began this past summer as a fun, creative activity to fill time at home during quarantine but has quickly grown into a production that already outgrown my short term goals for its growth!

As the sales kept coming in, I realized I was using a lot of wood. Like a lot, a lot. I want to give back as much as I can to help offset my business’s use of wood and packaging materials as much as possible.

I am a Landscape Designer, attending school to earn a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture.

Being that I am an environmentally conscious person in all aspects of my life, full-time career included and at the forefront, I see what harm my small business is doing to the environment in using wood as my main medium.

On this Earth Day, I have entered a small business partnership with the as part of their 50 Million for our Forests Campaign. This wonderful organization works to bring people together to restore and enhance America’s National Forests and Grasslands. This campaign works to plant 1 tree for every $1 donated.
