a project from last year...

The past two years has been difficult for me, more so over the past year.Part of my business was the acquisition of Vermont Carpet 5 years ago, with that the Previous owner Barbara LaRoche came along to aide in the transition and help teach about the business and a client base of 37 years. Barbara suffered a Stroke in December of 2018 and passed on January 3rd 2019, a great loss.

Her Son Mark Evans was our primary and best carpet installer and had come along to help us and do many projects over the years. Mark’s health began to fail last summer and lost his battle yesterday morning.

I also suffered a terrible emotional pain in my personal relationship in February 2018, and she was lost when a fire burned her home last July.

I have been contemplating closing my showroom, mostly do to the lack of finding people with the skills and desire to work in flooring and bathroom design. Its been a tough year, finding competent and trust worthy installers seems to be a fleeting task.

I apologize for the often closed doors do to my being out in the field working on most of our projects. I just don’t have the ability to be in two places.

I have been planning to simplify things by relocating my showroom this year to my workshop/barn at my residence, the permits are in place but my desire to continue is losing momentum. I simply don’t know what to do.

How much does one need to take before it is too much!

Another simple kitchen remodel almost complete !

all new cabinets, quartz countertop and LVT flooring.

We removed a 1970's era kitchen, old florescent ceiling lighting and scrapped away and refinished the popcorn ceiling.

All updated new appliances, awaiting the range delivery and client's choice for a backsplash tile.
