Many of you know we attend the AmericasMart in Atlanta every July; however, because of Atlanta being one of the major FIFA host sites, the summer market has been moved to the 2nd week of June this year.

Gatherings at 3 Thirteen will be closed Monday, June 8th thru Saturday, June 13th, and our doors reopen with our regular 10-5 store hours on Monday June 15th. So, the store will be open the rest of this week for any of your Gatherings needs.

The annual Konza Prairie Quilters’ Guild Scavenger Hunt is entering its 2nd and final week. The hunt is ending at the end of the retail day, Saturday, April 4th. Extraordinary quilts of various quilting techniques, materials and styles are hosted by 18 Downtown Manhattan merchants. Information on each quilt that is shown including a “hint” for completing the entry form is available.

Once again Gatherings At 3 Thirteen has the opportunity to host another amazingly detailed quilt created by Elaine Shannon.

If you’re looking for a fun reason to visit downtown Manhattan or have a love and appreciation of quilting, stop in and participate in the scavenger hunt. Correctly completed forms entered may win one of several possible prizes.

It’s an old photo, but it fits the forecast. Gatherings will be closed tomorrow, January 24th, due to the anticipated snowfall and extreme windchill temperatures. We intend to be back in the store Monday at 10:00.

Well…..it’s that time of year!

Gatherings At 3 Thirteen will be posting to Facebook any changes to our normal store hours. Since it’s not just the potential snowfall but the extremely windy & cold conditions expected for the next several days, we will consider our customers’ safety as a priority.

Please check in on Facebook if you are wondering about our status. We also will try to monitor our Facebook messages should there be questions.
