Loony Loomworks is ran by two of the looniest people you'll meet between the Rockies and the Missouri River: Dustin and Stephanie. These two like to keep it interesting by adding color and functionality to items that would normally sit unused. Each item listed is hand made by either (or both) Dustin and Stephanie. Nothing leaves the door without their final "okay" and quality inspection. There ar
e rumors that sometimes they leave notes or little gifts in some packages, but this page can neither confirm nor deny these rumors. The loom this wacky duo uses is a 1920's Union Loom passed down in the family since it's original purchase off of the assembly line. Dustin is the fourth generation family member to use the same loom, keeping the tradition alive. While he enjoys the traditional style, his creative side does get the better of him at times. Each rug is made from re-purposed cloth, including (but not limited to): Bed sheets, rags, towels, and clothing; all sourced from local establishments (such as thrift stores and yard sales). Bags (coming soon!) are made from 100% pure hemp grown in Romania. All color is then hand dyed by Dustin using natural dyes. Once the industrial hemp market takes hold in the USA, Loony Loomworks plans on making all hemp items with 100% grown-in-the-USA hemp.
