Another reason it’s been a little quitter the last month was because I was spending my evenings training for my first ever half! It was definitely chilly but actually ended up being perfect for a run. Congratulations to all the runners and thank you to all the spectators for your encouragement, it helped a ton!

This week our chickens coop has been active…. Tuesday night we forgot to shut the coop door and unfortunately a raccoon visited and took out some of our chickens. He came back last night and thankfully Kevin was able to take care of him and he won’t be visiting again.

Tonight Weston went out to get eggs and found a friend in the coop…. Kevin went out to get it out of the coop and he got trapped but has now flown off. Thankfully no chickens were harmed but goodness could the predators could just back off please !
