The othe panel has 134 holes of Fine-Fine cane whew a lot of work for these large old fingers.
Very happy with the good looking bottoms. 😄

Three of a kind. Interesting how projects happen to come in. These three Lincoln rockers arrived, from three different people, & are next three on the todo list.

A close look at the wood shows quite an age difference, from maybe 100+ years old, to maybe 80 years old, to 50 years old (when this person bought it originally).

So you know what I’ll be doing for the next few weeks.

Three ready to go home. Three different types of seats.
Hand woven cane seat.
Punched leather seat.
Pressed cane seat on a youth rocker.

I like the details in each piece.
Note the couched corners in the hand woven. Also the underside is knotless & very very neat. Perhaps the best work I’ve done.
