Final Inventory Liquidation!!
Thanks so much to everyone that has come in the past weeks and taken advantage of our going out of business sale. It's been so kind of everyone to wish us support and best wishes for the next chapter of our lives!

This is going to be our last week of operation and we've been working hard the last couple of days going through inventory, moving things around, and marking it down for a final liquidation sale!

Everything must go and we have hundreds of items on 50 cent, $1, $2, and $3 tables. Lots of items on these tables are 90% off or more!!

All remaining Christmas ornaments / items are 80% off

Thank you all for such a wonderful week! 😄 Actually... Month! 🙌🏻 November has been incredible... Better than I imagined for sure! I appreciate your business more than you know! It means so much to me to see all of our inventory disappearing so quickly! I can honestly say, I am shocked at how fast merchandise has went out the doors! I’m thankful its all going to great homes! And... I love being able to offer the amazing discounts you’ve been receiving!! 😘

Thank you so much to all of you for being so understanding! Believe me, this has been a hard decision but I couldn’t be more excited to be back with my family and to have my husband be with me more! His commute will go from 8 hours to an 1.5 hours and he will be able to sit reserve at home!! I am very thankful for that. ❤️
Also, this will give me a chance to focus on myself more and try to stay healthy! I appreciate all of your kind words during this time! I am going to miss each and every one of you and appreciate your business more than you know!! 😘

Also, I wanted to make sure everyone knows that my husband and I are NOT moving right away... We wil be in business for the rest of the year or while merchandise lasts!! This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to share with you...

To all of our wonderful customers,
With sadness, we are announcing that Old Lumber Yard Gifts & Home Decor will be closing for the last time by Christmas of this year. While the decision has not been made lightly and there never is a perfect time for such things, changes in our lives have necessitated this move. In the past less than 2 years unfortunately we lost my father and my 19 year old sister in March of this year (all due to blood clots that run in our family) I have also undergone a lot of testing and as of now I am okay but have to watch for all signs... August of this year we had a scare with a possible clot... My husband and I will be relocating to Columbus, Indiana at some point in the next year to my hometown of Columbus, Indiana which will allow me much more time with my family and also will make his work commute to Cincinnati, Ohio much shorter. (And, this allows for me to be able to see him more)

As many of you know, our longtime manager Patrice had the wonderful opportunity to follow her dream a year ago to open a clothing boutique with her daughter in DeWitt. Patrice is missed so much but we are so elated with her success and hope that everyone will visit her wonderful boutique! “Soul Sisters” in honor of her 2 Sisters who passed away from cancer. (Patrice has been my mother away from home for 10 years now and I couldn’t think of anyone better to play this roll)

Over the past 10 years, we’ve greatly enjoyed serving each and every one of you and words can’t express how much we appreciate all of your support!! We will be launching sales and specials throughout the holiday season and we hope that you stop by and find the perfect holiday gifts and decor!

Thank you again to all of you! We wouldn’t have been here 10 years without you! This has been a hard decision and the shop will truly be missed... We just have to do what is best for our family.
