Nature inspired, Recycled, Repurposed, Renewed Designs
Inspired by nature and the colors all around me, and living by the water I see how the landscape around me is forever changing. Mahana Designs captures those images in different ways, from photography, handmade jewelry to signs from driftwood washed up on the beach. As much as possible, objects are a mix of recycled material and found objects
to create something renewed or repurposed. My studio is bright and sunny and all of my work is created with the supervision of my four legged helpers who are always willing to help check my work or just lay in the sun. Mahana means the Sun or Light of Sun or Day in Tahitian, and the objects I make are created with love and warmth from the sun, the sea and all that inspires me.
