One thing I never anticipated about taking this biz full time this year? The amount of hours I’d spend in the car on a weekly basis 🤪 like I used to sit at a desk ALL day?!

Of course I wouldn’t trade it for anything because I’m exactly where I want to be, but DANG. All that to say, even I think I’ve maxed out my podcast time so what are we listening to these days?! Other than the new Taylor, obvi 🤍

There truly is nothing more humbling than moving to a neighborhood on the top of a mountain and realizing you are in fact not in as good of shape as you thought you were…

But truly the other day I made it to the bottom of the 100 step staircase only to realize that I had a Zoom meeting in exactly 3 minutes 🫠 All that to say, in approximately 6 months time I expect to have legs of steel so just you wait!

And yes, this is the kind of caption you get when you refuse to use AI to write them and let your brain go wild instead 😂

Millie & Kit’s nursery was my absolute favorite room in our last home, so this design has some pretty big shoes to fill 🪿

These rooms have officially made it to the top of the list to get our hands on. There’s something about having stark white walls in the girls’ bedroom and playroom that I simply can’t handle….

Drumroll please 🥁 Drywall is UP at the Inverness Cottage and the backsplash tile is being installed as we speeeak!

I’m so excited to see this project completed, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad that I won’t have a reason to visit Inverness every week.

Anyone else looking for a designer around these parts? I promise I’m finally learning how to say Inverness correctly if that influences your decision at all 😂

You guys I’ve gotta be honest for a sec… I’m kind of dreading Halloween - but wait, hear me out!

The fall that includes soup, pumpkins, cozy sweaters, Thanksgiving? Yes. 1000% yes. The fall that includes decking out the house for Halloween? Not so much. I’m just not a spooky gal.

That being said, now that I’m a mom I’ve taken it as my sworn duty to not pass on my lack of spookiness to my children. I promise. 😂 So fellow moms, what are we dressing up our kids for this year?
