Hi friends.
It has now been almost a year since our final in-store shopping day. When I closed the physical shop in May 2025, I told myself (and you all) that it wasn't a closure for good, but a transition. I'd channel my energies into selling the yarn online, but I'd still be teaching classes and workshops and pattern designing and all the other things I loved the most about fiber arts and our local community. That the momentum would still be there, or at least return after a break.
But the truth is, it hasn't. I've spent months carrying the weight of that "someday" - someday I'll get new classes posted, someday I'll promote it, and someday I'll feel like a shop owner again. The reality is, my hands hurt when I knit now and it's becoming harder to ignore. My heart isn't in the inventory and spreadsheets and all the mental labor that is keeping up with taxes and class planning and such. And, when I was finally in a place where I could honest with myself, the dream shifted and I realized I have been holding onto the shell of something that's already gone.
So, I'm closing this chapter for REAL this time. Everything will be going on sale in the online shop as I clear out what's left.
Right now, I have the yarns discounted so there's no coupon code needed. As per my in-store closing, I will do my best to make sure we have matching lot numbers on any yarn you order and will email you if there's an issue to let you know. There is still free shipping if you order $75+ of product, as well.
To everyone who walked through the door, placed an order, sat and knit with me, or just believed in what I was building - thank you. This mattered. You mattered. And even though it's ending for good, I'm grateful it existed at all.
I don't know know exactly what comes next, but I know it's time to stop keeping one foot in the past and start moving forward.
