Well, I started out working on samples for this week. Sadly, Miss Shiloh spent most of the morning trying to climb inside my hoodie. So we stopped all production in order to make her a Pretty Princess sweater!

Crazy Yarn Lady is proud to introduce our newest employee! Model Ryanne Gosling will be joining us for her first event tomorrow afternoon in Greene Square Park at 4 pm! Showing off our first in a series of outfits, Ryanne is styling a playfully tilted pointed hat and a cozy cape in delightful Halloween colors! While her outfit is for sale, Ryanne is a permanent member of CYL staff and cannot be purchased. (although rumor has it that she can be bribed with goldfish crackers!)

Calling all crafters! You--yes you! You know that box of scrap yarn, leftover ribbons, lace trim, buttons, fabric scraps--all that stuff you keep saying you'll do something with and can never figure out what? Crazy Yarn Lady would LOVE to adopt that box and upcycle your oddities box as part of our eco-friendly creative reset pilot program!!! Drop us a message to meet up and donate the stuff that's taking up space in your craft room, closet, attic, garage, trunk, under the bed.........yeah, you know who you are! We'd love to help you overcome your addiction to saying "i might need this some day!"

Crazy Yarn Lady is collecting creative odds & ends!

Cleaning out a jewelry box or craft stash? I’m looking for small treasures that can be given a second life in our community art programs.

Old or broken costume jewelry, large beads, bells, charms, pendants, ribbon and trim remnants, tassels, interesting yarn, small wooden pieces, unused craft supplies, and other fun little project bits are welcome.

Missing an earring? Broken necklace? Three random bells you have no idea why you own? I want them. 😂

These materials will become part of our adaptable creative programming, giving participants the freedom to make their projects truly their own.
