After 25 amazing years as a florist, and 15 focusing on weddings, I have decided to call it a well lived experience. After this year I am softly retiring. I want to spend more time in my home, enjoying flowers for me and the bees. I want to go on vacations. I would love to enjoy my backyard and honestly at 51 years old I think I’m ready for a break. I want to thank every venue and every bride for all of your love and support because I loved and supported you with all of my heart. But I think I’m entering in era of taking care of me and my husband and my family. I love you all. Best, Carie

I am so exhausted so if you have any questions about what I am going to say, let me know. We traveled up to Lebanon today for a three hour Neuro ophthalmology appointment. Ben underwent many many tests. What it comes down to is that he has bilateral diplopia and fourth nerve palsy definitely in one eye potentially in both. They are scheduling another MRI that will look deeper into this. At the end of the day we had to leave with no solution, they want us to come back in five months after radiation is done. One of the tumors sat too hard on the CN 4th Nerve. In five months, maybe it will correct itself, maybe he will have to have a glasses with prism, maybe he will have to have surgery. That’s all we got from today.
We are still so grateful that his tumors are gone. Now we just have to deal with the repercussions 🙏♥️

If some one had told me on July 13th that my son would be diagnosed with brain cancer on a wedding season of 27 weddings I would have cried my eyes out and I did. We made it work, as a family and through a lot of tears and perseverance. Today after multiple surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo and 27 weddings, I placed my last flower in an arrangement. Then I proceeded to cry my eyes out. It’s amazing what we can do in the face of adversity ❤️🙏

As the pro photos start coming in, I get to re-live my beautiful couples weddings. Gorgeous Rebecca and Alex had such a stunning day on September 9th surrounded by so many family and friends. What I loved about this wedding was that I met their family years back when I designed their other daughter’s wedding ♥️ Rebecca was a dream to work with and it was so awesome seeing the family again! Congratulations you two!

I feel like I’m a little bit behind a ball this summer with posting immediately after the wedding however, here is the beautiful Elizabeth Murphy’s wedding at Stratton Mountain resort. These are just my first pics waiting for the professional ones to come in. Elizabeth was a joy to work with so kind and so sweet. I got to bring my daughter along for the set up and that was so much fun! Elizabeth’s tones were soft, classic elegance, and it fit her perfectly. Congratulations!@ greenmountainfloralarts

And for the Stratton wedding this weekend, we brought gorgeous florals for Megan and Steve!! Never have I ever set up a wedding during a yoga session, but that was soo cool! Megan and Steven were a dream to work with and I can’t wait to see there pro photos!! So many more to come!! Congratulations!!!
