The club has an open-door policy so come and join us anytime! If you want to learn the art of filmmaking, let's do it together! Come make short films with us! We need storyboarders, scriptwriters, actors, camera operators, light and sound technicians, props/costumes/makeup crew, and editors! Be a part of the crew, the cast, or both! Students can:
Develop skills with a wide range of filmmaking equi
pment
Practice diverse editing techniques
Work collaboratively on group productions
Network with other students who enjoy filmmaking
Provide filmmaking services to the NMU and greater Marquette community
The group will meet two times a week. The first meeting will be logistical - covering pre-production planning for the second meeting day. The leadership council must attend both meetings. Other group members may attend as desired. The second meeting will consist of (1) workshops during which students can review, practice, and/or learn about equipment, techniques, etc. related to digital filmmaking (2) optional reviews and critiques of independent work as desired by the members in attendance (3) collaborative production work utilizing upper-level digital cinema equipment.
