Iโ€™ve been so sick lately. Started last month with an abscess behind my tonsil, then I ended up with an allergic reaction to the antibiotic when I developed blisters on my lips. Then a week later I got the flu. Finally I think I am on the mend! But itโ€™s been a rough month. Iโ€™m excited to get to read this new book!

A slightly different type of video than I normally share, but we are SO proud of our girl! Sheโ€™s in the blue top, was down 3 points, came up 3 points then won the tie breaking round! Ended up with 1st place. This summer we will be off to Tulsa and the National Championships ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฅ‹

Finally back to posting! One goal I have this year is to learn a little more about where my family came from. My paternal great grandfather was the first one born on US soil. His family came from Scotland, around the Glasgow area. Iโ€™ve compiled a list of classic Scottish books and the first one I picked was Outlander. Definitely in love! Can not wait until I have time to pick up the next one ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ’™

I love reading about and learning about history. Learning about history is a great way to help prevent the repeat of something negative.
If you love history as well, drop a comment below! And if you have a great history book recommendation let me know!
