It's rare that Dustin and I ever share a favorite scent from a collection-But somehow Stay Awhile was #1 for both of us this autumn.

Inspired by slowing down and living in the moment -Stay Awhile wraps around you with cozy chai, warm spices, and sweet pumpkin.

When I created the blend for Stay Awhile and sniffed it for the first time-I was instantly transported to a coffee trip with one of my best friends a few years ago. It happened to be during a challenging season of life and I remember vividly taking the deep breath and just wanting to be present in the moment for awhile.

One of our favorite autumn traditions is our long weekend camping trip in Door County, WI every October. It was a large part of the inspiration for our Autumn Traditions collection from this season!

This year we added a new tradition to the weekend and stopped at Door County Candle Co. & Candle Bar and created candles just for us.

It was such a fun reminder that candles can be about so much more than the finished product. They can be an experience, a memory, and something you get to create together.

An important update about holiday ordering 🎁🎄

We're doing things a little differently with our holiday orders this year!

We are opening a holiday preorder until 11/7. Opening preorders helps us plan what to pour and makes sure you can reserve the scents you really want before December inventory gets limited.

Our holiday preorder is open today October 18–November 7, with orders ready for pickup or shipping during the first week of December.

We'll still have some candles available afterward, but we can't guarantee every scent will be around once December arrives. so if you already have favorites in mind, preordering is the best way to make sure they're yours.

One of the most humbling things about candle making is wick testing. 🫠

We ordered these 3 wick jars about 7 months ago- and even with the smallest wick in our typical brand-the jar still temps out too hot.

So, we're on to testing them as double wicks instead.

They sure are pretty though 😍

We know this is a little different from what we normally share here, but Love Found has always been a pretty personal little business for us.

A lot of you know that our adoption journey is a big part of our story and one of the reasons this little business even exists.

We recently renewed our home study and are continuing to hope that someday, we might have the opportunity to grow our little family.

Which scents have you loved?

Personally, Stay Awhile has been my favorite the last couple of weeks. It's the perfect pumpkin spice scent.

(We know we definitely need to bring Pumpkin Reserve back next year... We may have learned the hard way 🤣)
