PLANT HIGHLIGHT - Syngonium!
Arrow head plants, as they are commonly called, are always a favorite of the houseplant community, and for good reason!! Easy care, many colors and sizes, and a vining nature makes these houseplants an awesome and collectible species! The common “arrow head” shaped leaves are indicative of young plants while some species can have lobed “ears” around the petiole when the plant is more mature. What’s not to love!!

PROUD PLANT PARENT!!
My monstera deliciosa has grown so beautifully since I have had it, which has been about two years now. The last picture was taken the day I bought it as a little plant pup and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are from about 8 months ago when I did a plant highlight on it. Now, I have recently repotted it for the third time and put it on a moss pole! At the end of the day, monstera deliciosa plants are climbers and will try to climb up ANYTHING it can find, and when they do climb, they get SO BIG!! Here is to hoping for him to get bigger than he already is!!

PLANT HIGHLIGHT - Monstera Adansonii!!
What an absolute stunner, this one is! This classic vining tropical plant gives the most immaculate jungle energy that every home needs! There are even two varieties; wide form and narrow form. The first two pictures are narrow form, having thinner, longer, and pointier leaves. The third and fourth picture are the wide form, with thicker and wider leaves that have ridges down the leaves. Peduncle city!!!
As any hoya collector may know, they can sometimes flower through a group of flowers called a peduncle. These peduncles can be different colored, scented, and sized depending on the species of hoya. Some of my hoyas decided to love me back and push out some BEAUTIFUL peduncles this year!! A “dry season” with high light and higher temps can induce flowering or give you a better chance of getting some flowers. You have to be quick though, once they open, hoya flowers don’t last longer than a couple of days, so check them daily!!

PLANT HIGHLIGHT - Cebu Blue Pothos!
This plant has become one of my absolute favorites as of recent for so many reasons!! For one, just look at those blue-tinted pointy leaves! Normal house conditions, no extra humidity required, drought tolerant, and low light tolerant perfectly describe this vining houseplant. When mature (and most likely growing up a pole), the leaves can even develop fenestrations!!
I have many of these available, from 4” ceramic pots to full 7” pots! Grab a macrame hanger and these plants will grow as long as you let them for that “jungle-house” feel!

PLANT HIGHLIGHT - Caladiums!!
These plants are a forever favorite of mine! Ever since I discovered them, I wait so impatiently for spring every year so I can go out and get more of them! Most people see these outside, but they can be grown beautifully indoors!
My favorite coloration is the one here, bright white with dark green veins. These were actually bought as bulbs from the store, not a grown plant! Often times, caladiums will go dormant over the winter and die back to their bulbs, but they sprout back after winter!

Long time no see! Life got the best of me for a good while, but I am determined to be back and active to keep spreading the plant love around NW TN!!
Part of my time this summer has been spent frantically trying to keep up with my collection and it’s heightened needs from the summer heat, but I also spent it learning a new hobby: MACRAME!!!
