There are some things flowers just seem to know how to say when we can’t find the words ourselves.
When I make sympathy flowers, I think a lot about the person they’re meant to honor, even if I didn’t know them personally. Not just the fact that someone has passed, but the life they lived. The people who loved them. The memories they left behind. The little things that made them them.
And I think that’s why I love flowers so much.
Flowers remind us that life is beautiful. That it’s worth celebrating. That even though nothing lasts forever, that doesn’t make it any less beautiful or meaningful.
Sometimes flowers say I’m sorry.
Sometimes they say I love you.
Sometimes they say I’m here.
And sometimes they simply say, your loved one mattered.

I pour my heart into every arrangement I make, but sympathy pieces get a little extra care, a little extra thought, and honestly, a whole lot of love.
I don’t believe sympathy flowers should feel like just another arrangement pulled together from a recipe. I want them to feel personal. I want them to feel like a little piece of a cottage garden. Something soft, natural, a little wild, and full of beautiful blooms gathered together with intention.
Because no two people are exactly alike.
So why should the flowers celebrating their life be?
Every person has their own story, their own personality, their own kind of beauty. My hope is that when someone receives flowers from Aunt Bee’s, they can feel a little bit of that story woven into them.
Not your average arrangement.
Not something made to simply fill a vase.
Something made with love, to help say the things that sometimes our hearts just can’t. 🩷
That’s what I hope every Aunt Bee’s arrangement does. I hope it’s clear that it was designed to celebrate life, carry a message, and remind someone that they are loved.
