Thank you Quilt Week Friends! We had such a good time visiting with you during our pop-up shop. We appreciate your conversations and your support of our small business. We invite you to make the trip to Maysville to see our “real” brick and mortar location for more of our happy fabric experience.

Shout out to my great team that has been seriously overworked but assuredly appreciated during the last SEVERAL weeks. They helped get everything ready for quilt week, in addition to moving a shop, hosting a retreat, and keeping things running while I’ve been making new friends!

If you are local to Paducah, be sure to check out The Focus Building when you are looking for a charming place to host your next small gathering or celebration. The whole vibe is warm and inviting. 🩷🩷🩷

Our Apron Strings Quilt Shop Quilt Week Paducah Pop-Up-Shop is open! Stop by and visit with us at The Focus Building 221 Kentucky Avenue now through Saturday at noon!

We’ve brought lots of Sassy Sunflower Quilts Half Packs, tons of premium 3 yard cuts of quality wide backings, QT Fabrics Short Bolts, panels, single yards, & more!

We’ve already made some new quilt shop friends this afternoon, and are looking forward to making more as the week continues.

We are heading to Paducah to set up our Apron Strings Pop-Up Shop during Quilt Week. If you are attending, please visit us at 221 Kentucky Avenue, within walking distance of the Quilt Week activities. Our team will keep the Maysville shop open from 10:30-3, Wednesday through Saturday, although some shelves and walls may appear empty. Wishing you a great week, friends, wherever you are!

Whew! Our quilt shop family really showed up today for our first open day in the new location. We got to visit with so many friends. 💛💛💛

We are working in the shop this afternoon making some new Sassy Sunflower Half Packs for our re-opening weekend. We are also making lots of Sassy’s to take with us to our pop-up shop during quilt week in Paducah! We plan to start out with at least FIFTY different 🌻 half pack 🌻 choices in Paducah. There will be about 35 options to start with in the shop this weekend!! When you add in the fact that you get to select the Sassy Sunflower pattern of your choice, the possibilities are huge!

The fat quarter wall is almost filled, and the backing hall is taking shape. The extra long cutting counter is nearly finished, and bolts are slowly making their way onto the shelves.

Opening day is April 10th! We hope you join us!
