misty moonstone is a mid-toned classic grey beige. it’s a very interesting formulation~ 6 different opposing dyes make this perfectly balanced neutral that is staple in all wardrobes! a very elevated, high end feeling tone that is still down to earth and a pleasure to work with. this dye recipe is very consistent across all bases!

color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~ misty moonstone is a classic grey beige, and is mid toned but beige itself is never deep. so, for a grey beige…it’s a pretty pigmented one. it is not entirely grey, not entirely beige. perfect for all ages and always creates an elevated looking garment.

🍂NEW! rich mahogany ~ coming to the autumn accessibility collection, friday 9/11 at 8pm!

🍂rich mahogany is one of my favorites i’ve ever developed. a rich mahogany brown, it has burgundy undertones and has so much depth and character! this one is far better in person. it’s brown! but i can’t stop looking at it. this is not a boring brown! it is just so rich, and deep, and deliciously chocolatey (please don’t eat it!). i can’t wait to knit with this one. this one has some variation between sw and nsw. nsw bases have some tonal shifting in them, you’ll see more red, burgundy, and soft brown sections. this still shouldn’t create unintentional striping, the fabric will look more dappled. sw is smooth and consistent rich mahogany brown!

color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~ rich mahogany is red leaning, warm and velvety. it’s burgundy red undertones really ground this color in a great way. it’s depth makes it feel slightly vibrant, i recommend it for anyone, but particularly those who feel their best in warm colors.

🍂vetiver velvet is a classic, midtoned mossy green! it’s earthy, elegant and timeless.

🍂color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~ vetiver velvet is a mid to deep yellow leaning green. it is a classic, true mossy green. it is well balanced~ it is yellow leaning but it is not overwhelmingly warm toned. in consideration of warm/neutral/cool tones~ i would consider it warm-to-neutral. in terms of chroma/saturation~ it is mid to slightly deep, and maintains a nice level of softness. vetiver velvet is very timeless, this is a staple green.

this color is great for those with soft features/lower contrast, but is complementary to everyone as it was formulated for balance 👌

contrast~ basic examples: low contrast~ dark blond to light brunette hair, medium toned skin, soft eyes. high contrast~ very dark hair, very deep or pale skin, bright or very deep eyes.

NEW~ please welcome classic chartreuse to the autumn accessibility collection, yours friday 9/11 at 8pm ET 🍂
🍂classic chartreuse is a difficult one to get right…it can take on many forms…too bright and it can feel too neon, too…energetic. too yellow or too deep, and it can feel to “avocado” to be a true chartreuse. certain formulations (not this one!) can also take on a “creepy” halloween green type of feel. this colorway is a true chartreuse~ it’s perfectly balanced to be timeless and feel like it’s made for all age groups. it has a depth to it that gives it a grounded feel. a truly chic color, one that turns heads and results in many “oh wow! that color looks beautiful on you!” it is vibrant, but we only live once. take up space 🫶🏻

🍂color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~this color compliments all skin tones and all levels on contrast~ chartreuse is for everyone! on a warmth level, it is balanced~ on a saturation/chroma level, it is vibrant but not neon.

🍂 NEW! please welcome the absolutely beautiful amberglow~ and swipe to see some of the bases! remember, i have 23 bases! something for all people and their individual needs 🫶🏻

amberglow feels like my pride and joy! it is such a unique colorway! it is so tricky to get metallic type colorways to translate to wool (have you ever seen gold hair dye that looks like the real thing??) anywho, it is a brilliant bronzed amber gold, with lots of depth and wonder. it is so stunning! i was told it looks like pure spun gold on mohair silk and that is just so true. i’m so excited about it!! i’ve never seen a colorway like it!

color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~ amberglow is a rich, warm amber gold. it reminds me of candlelight, but the glow around the candle. like the color of pure maple mixed with gold. it feels classic and timeless, and so rich. it was formulated using multiple opposites on the color wheel to get it just right. one of my most “goldilocks” colorways. in consideration of warm/neutral/cool tones~ it is definitely warm toned! in terms of chroma/saturation~ it is mid to slightly deep, and it almost wants to be vibrant but it’s not. it is rich while keeping a nice softness to it. amberglow is very timeless, this is a must in your wardrobe.

this color is great for those with any amount of contrast and compliments warm toned people best👌

true navy is a classic navy blue~ the color that goes with everything! my version has a slight hint of cobalt to give it that “wow factor”.

all of my bases are available for the accessibility collection. the bases are discounted generously, so more people can afford to work with luxury blends that are handdyed, professionally. my methods are tried and true and produce beautiful fabrics~ and as someone who’s survived the system/being a ward of the state, and lived through deep poverty and temporary homelessness, i’ve been through that great fight and i don’t believe in pricing people out of things. everyone deserves nice things, and i do these collections a few times a year to give back. the extra labor is a gift, because i choose to. all my love. 💜

viridian is part of the autumn accessibility collection~ yours friday, september 11th, at 8pm!

viridian is a true multifaceted emerald green! it has so much depth and brilliance. it shines exactly like the classic gemstone and happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear! it has extra richness, depth, and is more cool toned on the sw bases, the nsw are a more midtoned, neutral kelly green. this colorway truly shines on the sw bases. this one is a stunner, it has a vibrance and glow to it that many colorways don’t have. this color is one of those that is always in style, has that polished look, and you’ll enjoy working with it the entire time. a 10 outta 10, if i say so myself.
