So we've been discussing this gray weather yet again this morning. We love Michigan and all the seasons but we are ready for some sunshine!! Our therapy is recounting all the great summer "deck nights" with friends, food on the grill and music in the background. On this project the clients were having trouble visualizing what their exterior was going to look like. They wanted to have a plan for their upcoming build down to the landscaping areas around the house. It was so fun to add all of the extra little details and it is crazy how much more realistic it looks with them. But most importantly now they have a plan so when it comes time to make all of those selections they won't be overwhelmed by them!

Kitchens are the heart of the home, the place we gather with family and friends. Not only do I want a kitchen I'm working on to be beautiful. But I love to find out how a family uses their kitchen and how they move around in it. So much thought and planning goes into a kitchen project. This client had ideas on what they wanted for their master bath remodel and even had some items purchased. They were just struggling with how it was going to come together and needed help narrowing things down and making finish and color selections. Seeing their room in 3D and being able to plug in different finishes, colors and fixtures made all the difference for them. Let me know if this would help you with your next project!

So these are the exterior ideas I drew up for SWEET Blooms. You guys I am so excited for this business and all they plan on doing. Their flower arrangements are just so creative and on top of that they are going to offer so much more! A white house can be done so many different ways. You can do white siding with the high contrast of black windows and doors or keep things monochromatic and add lots of different textures. You can also do something in between if that suites you. Seeing your exterior in 3D can really help you make those hard decisions fun and exciting. So this was my first craft room project, it was so much fun! The client had really awesome ideas but wasn't quite sure how to work them in with her existing stained doors and windows. We tied it all together with a butcher block countertop on her craft table so not only does it look great but it's super functional as well! Doesn't it just make you want to do a craft?
