BOARD MEMBERS WANTED — HELP US BUILD SOMETHING NEW!

I am excited to announce that I am founding a new nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young adults ages 17–30 as they navigate independence, career development, creativity, and adulthood.

We are currently seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our founding Board of Directors and help shape the organization from the ground up.

Our nonprofit will focus on programs such as:

Independent Living Skills — Life skills, home economics, self-sufficiency, and navigating adulthood.

Workforce Training — Career readiness, employment skills, professional development, and connections to workforce resources.

Financial Literacy — Budgeting, credit, banking, financial planning, and building financial independence.

Creative Drop-In Center — A welcoming space where young adults can explore creativity, connect with others, and develop their interests.

DJ & Music Education — Opportunities to learn DJing, music production, performance, and related creative skills.

We are looking for individuals who believe in youth and young adult empowerment and are willing to contribute their experience, ideas, connections, and time to help build a strong foundation for this organization.

You do not need to have prior nonprofit board experience to apply. We are interested in people with diverse backgrounds, skills, professional experiences, and perspectives.

Founding Board Members Wanted

Interstellar Foundations is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Founding Board of Directors as we build a new nonprofit organization focused on creating meaningful opportunities, supportive resources, and stronger connections within our communities.

We envision a nonprofit that brings together community support, wellness, education, creativity, harm reduction, veteran support, and resource navigation to help people access the tools and connections they need to thrive. We are currently in the formation stage and are looking for individuals who want to help shape the organization from the ground up.

We are especially interested in individuals with experience in:
• Nonprofit leadership or governance
• Finance, accounting, or budgeting
• Grant writing and fundraising
• Veterans services
• Mental health or substance-use recovery
• Community outreach and partnerships
• Legal, compliance, or organizational development
• Marketing, communications, or public relations
• Events, arts, music, or creative programming
