Redmon's Carpet & Tile is looking to hire a design consultant. This job will be full time Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Overview:
Are you passionate about interior design and creating stunning spaces that leave a lasting impression? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Design Consultant/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will combine your expertise in layout design, renovation, and high-end sales to help clients transform their spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Your enthusiasm for interior design and exceptional customer service skills will drive sales and ensure every client experience is memorable.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves engaging with customers, and has a flair for creative solutions.

Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand their design needs, preferences, and project goals through active listening and effective communication.
Provide expert guidance and color combinations.
Manage inside sales activities such as POS transactions.
Maintain organized merchandising displays.
Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products or seasonal collections to boost sales opportunities.
Having a good eye for colors/textures combinations is a huge plus.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience:
Proven experience in retail sales within the interior design is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay is based on experience.

Must be able to lift at least 50+ pounds.
Must be able to drive a forklift to load/unload trucks.
Must be able to perform other tasks as assigned.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Must be able to cut carpet/linoleum.
Must have a valid drivers license.
If you don't have a valid drivers license, please DO NOT apply.
Pay is based on experience.
Hours will be from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday
No weekends!!
