A poem about The Scent of Home!!!! 🫶🏻

A house is built with stone and beam,
But home is made of breath and dream—
Of whispers tucked in linen folds,
And stories that the silence holds.

Yet nothing wraps the soul so tight
As fragrance floating soft and light—
A cinnamon hug, a lemon breeze,
A hint of pine from ancient trees.

A home that smells of warm-baked bread,
Of blooming rose or cedar shed,
Becomes a place the heart can find,
A sanctuary of the mind.

The scent of rain on thirsty ground,
Of lavender that drifts around—
These are the things that subtly weave
A spell that bids us not to leave.

For when the world is loud and fast,
We long for comfort built to last.
And in that space, both still and true,
A lovely scent will welcome you.

It’s not just air—but memory,
A quiet kind of alchemy,
That turns four walls into a part
Of what we carry in the heart.
