These simple little "love you" dishes take a lot of work! They go through 4 kiln firings to get here - a bisque, another bisque with black underglaze applied and wiped back, then a glaze firing with clear glaze applied, and the final firing for the gold luster. ✨

A customer told me they would prefer a dish that said, "you are loved" because it would be more comfortable to give that to their friend….

So for one thing that would not fit on this plate.

But also - go ahead - tell your friends you love them.
