W**e Wednesday is upon us! Today we’re highlighting the 2019 Collosorbo Brunello di Montalcino, which is a traditional Tuscan red w**e made entirely from Sangiovese. You can expect aromas of dried cherries, wild berries, leather, cedar, cocoa, and savory herbs. The flavor has ripe black cherry, tart red cherry, wild blackberry, and plum, layered with dried rose petals, to***co leaf, leather, baking spices,and earthy forest-floor notes. This w**e is rounded, full-bodied and enough acidity to keep it lively. Foods to pair this w**e with include: grilled steak or a Tuscan-style bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised short ribs, lamb, or venison, wild mushroom risotto, a rich ragù, and aged Pecorino Toscano or Parmigiano-Reggiano.

The 2022 Domaine du Gour de Chaulé Gigondas is a Southern French Rhône red w**e built around Grenache, with Syrah and Mourvèdre contributing structure and spice.
