I move through seasons of design the way energy moves through form—evolving, refining, returning to essence. Transitional spaces, to me, are a sacred balance point: where past and future meet, where refinement and ease coexist, where beauty feels both elevated and eternal.

I curate environments as living expressions of spirit—eclectic yet intentional, guided by intuition, grounded in timeless resonance. Each space becomes a vessel for presence, a quiet conversation between structure and soul.

My journey has been one of softening and distillation—shifting from the striking contrasts of bold prints and stark black-and-white into a more nuanced, intentional language. I’m realizing the power of subtlety and restraint - artistry that whispers rather than declares—where every element holds meaning, and nothing exists without purpose.

💫One mistake I see in beautifully furnished homes that quietly throws everything off is lack of ✨️TEXTURE!!! ✨️

💫Oh how I ✨️ADORE ✨️ mixing different textures- some leather, with some suede, a little s**g, and a hint of velvet = ✨️ CHEF'S 👩‍🍳 KISS 💋!!! ✨️

💫Hard materials like marble mix well with a soft s**g rug or velvet chaise. 💫

💫Even if you love beige everywhere! Adding textures of beige that differ will add dimension and elevate your space. It can take your space from boring to being luxurious 💫

💫One glance at this mural and you’d never guess you’re inside a law firm’s conference room.

💫At Elle Interiors, I believe thoughtful design has the power to soften spaces, elevate conversations, and shift the energy of how we work. When a room feels intentional, it supports clarity, confidence, and presence — exactly what meaningful discussions require.
How a space 💫 feels 💫 matters just as much as how it functions.

If you know me, then you know I am a HUGE nerd. Applying my love for research to delving into the history of design was not only fun, but inspiring. Design history makes me salivate! So, I wanted to know - who was the very first interior designer? Let’s learn about Elsie de Wolfe!

Elise de Wolfe is a major historical figure in interior design and widely celebrated as one of the first professional interior decorators in the United States.

Who Was Elsie de Wolfe? Elsie de Wolfe (also known as Lady Mendl) was an American actress-turned-interior decorator who is often credited with inventing the profession of interior design as we know it today.

The Energetic Essence of Elsie de Wolfe’s Design Philosophy

Elsie de Wolfe did not simply decorate rooms — she shifted the vibration of spaces. Her philosophy was rooted in a deep, intuitive knowing that environments hold energy, and that beauty is not frivolous, but a frequency that uplifts the human spirit.

At a time when interiors were heavy, dark, and emotionally stagnant (she lived from the 1860s to the 1950s), she became a channel for a new way of living — one where rooms breathed, light flowed freely, and the soul felt at ease.

Here is the energetic core of her approach:

💫Light as a Healing Frequency

Elsie believed in filling rooms with white, cream, and soft pastels not just for aesthetics, but because these tones expand the aura, lift the mood, and invite clarity. To her, color had the power to remove psychic heaviness and restore harmony.

💫 Beauty as a Spiritual Technology

Elsie felt that beauty was curative — that a beautifully arranged room could realign one’s inner world.

Her belief:

“A well-kept home is a well-kept soul.”

She instinctively understood that shape, proportion, and harmony are invisible forces that create emotional resonance. In her worldview, beauty was a tool for inner transformation.

💫 Simplicity as an Energetic Cleanse

She stripped away the Victorian clutter because she sensed the emotional stagnation it created.

Open space = open energy.
Clear pathways = clear consciousness.

Her rooms felt lighter because she removed anything that didn’t serve a purpose — a form of early space clearing, decades before the idea became mainstream.

💫 Feminine Softness as Sacred Alignment

Elsie infused interiors with a softness that felt like returning home to the self.
She embraced curved lines, florals, delicacy, and comfort as an antidote to the harshness of the outside world.

Spiritually, this was the embodiment of the Divine Feminine — nurturing, calming, and deeply intuitive. She believed a room should make you feel good when you enter it.

Not impressed.
Not intimidated.
But quietly elevated.

💫 She designed from intuition, from the subtle emotional pulse she felt inside a space. The result was rooms that felt like a soft exhale — aligned, peaceful, and soul-nourishing.

Elsie de Wolfe was a beautiful mind who made spaces beautiful.

💫 💫 A Brief, Spiritually-Infused History of Art Deco💫 💫

💫 Art Deco emerged in the 1920s as the world was healing and reorienting itself after World War I.

💫 It was more than just an art and design movement — it was a collective energetic shift and internal demand for control where there was none. Where Art Nouveau flowed with organic curves and nature’s softness, Art Deco rose with clear lines, symmetry, and intentional geometry, as if humanity was calling in structure, possibility, and a new sense of direction.

💫 Unveiled on the world stage at the 1925 Paris Exposition, Art Deco represented a desire to step into modernity with confidence. Its sunbursts, zigzags, metallics, and rich materials symbolized optimism, abundance, and the belief that life could be built anew with both elegance and power.

💫 During the 1930s, its influence shaped everything from skyscrapers to interiors to fashion — physical expressions of a global desire for progress, elevation, and alignment with a brighter future.

💫 Today, Art Deco continues to resonate because it carries a timeless spiritual duality: grounded in geometry, yet reaching for glamour; rooted in order, yet infused with imagination

It's a reminder that beauty, when crafted with intention, becomes a form of energetic architecture 💫

I've been in my craft for 4 years, and I'm so grateful and thankful for the progress I've made. I started my business in April of 2021 - on sheer passion and hope. It's been a blessing to have worked with the clients I've had. I ain't perfect, but I push myself to produce more creative ideas and designs with every project God drops into my lap. This work isn't easy by any means. But it's so absolutely rewarding 😌
